2010 is gonna be a great year...

1/28/2010

2010, ALREADY?! Wow, a new year is upon us and plans are already in the making for our 2010 racing season. Parts are being ordered, and plans are being made to make 2010 our very best year ever! For 2010, Goosmann Racing plans on keeping our 2009 Felony Fast car for our 2010 season, and also stepping up our motor program as well. As those of you who know us, and for those who dont, 2009 had plenty of bumps in our roads with our motor program. We missed out on alot of races because of our problems with motors, but towards the end of the season, our motor program started to come together and we were finishing races strong. We are extremely anxious for all this snow to melt(as I'm sure everyone is), and ready to get to work on the modified. 2010 promises to be a bigger, more exciting season for us and our expectations are set high for the upcoming season. We would like to thank our 2009 sponsors, Overhead Door, Dave's Electric, Picadilly Pizza, Throttle, Meier Auto Salvage, and Frerich's Farms, and anyone I missed! There is so many people to thank! Without your support in 2009, we wouldn't be able to race as competetively as we did. Thank you so much. 2010 is upon us, and Goosmann Racing and Felony Fast Racing is definately gonna have a strong positive impression on everyone in 2010. We are ready to go racing!! A new schdule will be posted soon for our 2010 racing schedule. See ya at the track soon!!

8/7/2009

Hello and thanks for visiting JayGoosmann.com. Our 2009 racing season has been full of surpises. We have had some issues with motor problems this year and hope to be back on the track soon! As most of you may know we blew up our motor last Sunday at Raceway Park. Hopefully this is only a small bump in the road to victory. Thank you to everyone for their support this year. Goosmann Racing and Felony Fast fans are nothing but the best of fans! We are currently working on getting a motor together and hope to be back on the track here very soon. Thanks to everyone for being patient and hopefully we can get back out there and get some wins under our belt! Boone is no too far off and Goosmann Racing plans on being there. The IMCA Super Nationals are coming up fast and we want to be at the top of our game so we are taking the time to get things right. Also, we are getting more Felonyfast shirts made and we will hopefully have them done before the Nationals. Thanks again to everyone for their support and sign our guestbook so we know you stopped by! See ya at the track!!

Raceway Park

Sunday at Raceway Park was an exciting night! Jay came from last in his heat to finish 2nd. Track was better than last week with some spots of tacky. Jays car handled very well in the heat and in the A. Jay started 6th in the A and by lap 6 was in the lead. The 7n of Jay Noteboom was hot on his tail, but Goosmann continued his lead. With 7 laps to go a yellow came out, and on the drop of the green flag Jay seemed to be holding a strong lead again. Jay and Jay Noteboom battled for the lead with 5 laps to go and Jay Goosmann pushed in the corner and Noteboom didnt miss his mark. Jay Goosmann finished a strong 2nd with the 7n winning the feature. It was a awesome battle to watch. Top 4 finishers 1. 7n Jay Noteboom, 2nd. Jay Goosmann 3rd. Jimmy Cole, 4th. Matt Bonine

Jay and the Felony Fast crew raced opening day of Raceway Park on Sunday May 3rd. As Jay took the green for his heat, he pulled a tear off and all the tear offs pulled off at once. He tried his best to see and ended up clipping the wall and finished in his heat last. In the A for the evening, Jay started 5th. Jay progressed up to 3rd at one point, and with the rough track conditions fell back a few spots but still finished strong in 5th. Jay commented that the car was extremely fast and he had a great time driving and was very impressed with how the car handled. Another night in the books for the felony fast racing team! Finishing order was 1st Mike Hansen 12h 2nd. Dirk Kirk 86jr 3rd. Jay Noteboom 7n 4th. Jim Theis 23 5th. Jay Goosmann 34

We had a few bugs to work out of the car, but overall was very impressed with how the car handled. We lost a radiator cap in the heat, causing us to not be able to finish the heat. In the A, Jay felt extremely comfortable with the car. Car was handling very well and was working extremely well with all the adjustments that they had made. Running in the A for the evening, Jay got a flat, forcing him to pull into the pits. This was the first official full length program that the felony fast car has ran, and we are all extremely pleased with how the car worked. Check back often for more results from felony fast racing. 2009 is gonna be an awesome year!

Felony Fast Racing - '08 Recap & '09 Preview

2/12/2009

2008 brought Jay Goosmann and the Felony Fast Race Team some ups and downs throughout the season just like any other season, but Jay and the gang were able to cap off the season having almost 5 feature wins with numerous top five and top ten finishes. Last September in Boone, IA at the International Motor Contest Association (IMCA) Super Nationals Jay made a very impressive drive to the front to finish in the number 4 position against some of the toughest drivers in the series.
This coming season, Goosmann and the Felony Fast Race Team will begin the year at Beatrice Speedway with their brand new ’09 Jet Chassis. The plans are to travel further than years past to compete in some of the higher paying events across the country along with competing for that precious IMCA National Championship and going for that win at the Super Nationals. So stay in tune with the new website, www.jaygoosmann.com for that it will be updated weekly with fresh press releases about the team as well as latest finishes and updated schedule events. Jay and the gang would like to give a very special shout out to all of their supporters, sponsors and fans because without them, it would be hard to make it to all the shows and be able to compete at the level they are. Thanks for stopping by the new site and be sure to sign the guestbook to let everyone with Felony Fast Racing that you stopped by!
